This is one of my favorite little projects. It always turns out so nice!
What you will need: construction paper in bright colors cut into different sizes of rectangles for the skyscapers, different sized squares for the windows, glitter foam in different shapes, foil cut into different shapes, large black construction paper to build the skyline on, and gold and silver metallic paint pens to decorate the night sky (with adult supervision).
I gave the children glue sticks to put down the buildings.
To decorate the night sky, use the paint pen to make dots and swirls.
Cut out a gold moon.
What a super fun project. I will definitely be trying this at the craft time I host. This is perfect for the preschool aged kiddos and even younger!! 🙂
This is great. I took a class of 5 year olds on Thursday, with geometric shapes as our theme. We tried to make flower gardens (not posted yet) Your idea would have been a better choice. I will be trying this, thanks.
