I was scared and hesitant if I could teach preschool, and if I could improve the existing program. THEN I DISCOVERED YOUR BLOG, and thought “I can do this!” WOW!! I started pinning, printing, and collecting ideas from EVERYTHING I saw! This was a year before I was ever even hired – 4 years ago! I wish I had the time to implement ALL of your wonderful ideas. Finally this 3rd year of teaching, I’m excited to finally introduce the “Birthday Tradition” and the “Peace Rug” (adaptation from your peace table) to my students. They absolutely LOVE both! 47. Abbie says:

I have been teaching kindergarten age and school age children for 8 years officially. I was at one point a stay at home mom who incorporated Reggio, Waldorf and outdoor education philosophies because these three combined make a recipe for a fun learning experience for children and adults involved. By acknowledging that we as adults learn more from the children around us daily allows us to be better educators and staples of the community. These philosophies allow this to happen seamlessly.

Congrats on the five year mark and thank you for providing a fantastic source.
