I have looooooooved and followed your blog since 2012! It’s been a huge source of inspiration in these crazy times. Thank you thank you.
Whoops! Forgot to say I was teaching Early Admission Kindergarten in 2012, and since then have taught 1/2, 2/3, 1/2 combos, and now a straight 1st. Whew. My first foray was looking into alternative behavior feedback, and from day one, you didn’t disappoint me with your child centered philosophy, and spot-on activities to support learners of all kinds.
Hi Sally,
I’ve belen following you si en 2011….I’m an ESL teacher. I workbook with kids from 3 to 12. It’s been very helpful to follow you, specially for the kinder students. I think I’m a better teacher thanks to you. Congrats and I hope there’ll be more blogversaries to come.
I have been following, learning and being inspired by Fairy Dust Teaching for the last 4 years! Thank you so much for everything you do as it has truly impacted what I do in my PreK (4-5 yr olds) classroom.:)

Cara Williams

Congratulations on 5 years and all the growth that Fairy Dust Teaching has seen! Thank you for creating such a wonderful resource for those who want to teach in a gentler, more intentional way. All the best to you in the years to come!

Happy anniversary! My name is Carla and I just discovered you this summer. I’ve followed you ever since. I teach pre-kindergarten in a Reggio Inspired program.
I enjoy the inspiration your website give me. Although my school is a Camphill inspired school following a Waldorf curriculum, you ideas are easy to adapt to an age appropriate activity. Thanks
I’m so glad I discovered your blog! I love your ideas and inspiration! I teach pre-k and have just recently started following you.
I teach 11 classes of Kindergarten, some with 24 students in Northern New Mexico. This is only my second year teaching art and your site has saved my sanity. Last year, when I was flying at the seat of my pants, you were my co-pilot. Thank you! You are amazing!
See I can’t even spell my own name! ?
Congratulations! Thank you so much for starting this and your-courses. They are really a godsend.

I am so glad I subscribed to your blog! You have a lot of new and innovative ideas that I can use with my Kinders and old students when I tweak it to their needs! Thank you!
I have taught preschool for over 30 years, mostly Threes and Fours. I have been reading Fairy Dust for about 6 months and have taken several of your courses. I especially love your ideas about classroom environments!
I have two young children ages 3.5 and 18 months. I’ve been following less than a year. I came to your blog by way of “age appropriate fairy tales.” That post and others here have been a nice reference, thank you!
Congrats!!
I am new to Fairy Dust Teaching and have just purchased my first training. I have been teaching preschool children for 25 years. I am excited to be part of the awesome community.

I am so glad I found Fairy Dust Teaching. The classes, blogs and group are inspiring, motivating and a great place to share with others. Thank you and happy anniversary.
I’ve been following you for a while, taken several of your courses, and have incorporated several of your ideas into my kindergarten classroom. Thank you for your continued efforts to inspire and grow us all as teachers! Happy blogiversary!
What a great offer – I’m fairly new to the site – but have found the resource to be one that is easily shared. I am a homeschool evaluator and have two of my own still at home as well – 8th & 5th grade.
Thanks for sharing your experiences and wisdom.
Congratulations on your anniversary and thank you for sharing and inspiring so many of us! I’ve been following you for a couple of years (maybe more…time flies!) and always look forward to your post! I’ve only been teaching kinder for 4 years (taught 4th grade before that) so your blog has helped me not only survive, but grow as an educator of tiny ones! Thanks again!
Happy blogversary! I loop with K4-K5 kiddos, I have been following you for at least 3 years, maybe more! I started following you when I was a newly minted teacher and knew there had to be a better way to educate, rather than worksheets and testing. Thank you for the constant inspiration and for your respect for young children! I am always looking for a way to add a little fairy dust to my classroom!
Sally,
Congrats on your five years! I benefitted so much from the Summer Institute, and look forward to putting what I have learned into practice. Your heart for children just shines, and this world so needs that light. Thank you for being an advocate for good practice in the Early Childhood field. You rock, Sally!
I received a call for a job posting and was encouraged to apply for it, but unsure if I wanted to return to teaching after having my kids. I was scared and hesitant if I could teach preschool, and if I could improve the existing program. THEN I DISCOVERED YOUR BLOG, and thought “I can do this!” WOW!! I started pinning, printing, and collecting ideas from EVERYTHING I saw! This was a year before I was ever even hired – 4 years ago! I wish I had the time to implement ALL of your wonderful ideas. Finally this 3rd year of teaching, I’m excited to finally introduce the “Birthday Tradition” and the “Peace Rug” (adaptation from your peace table) to my students. They absolutely LOVE both! Thanks for compiling lessons, and for wonderful photos on the process! I would not be back in teaching today without the wonderful, achievable ideas from this blog! Thank you – thank you!!
Congratulations Sally! You have been very inspiring for me. We are lucky that you share so much of yourself and so are the children that you teach. Thank you for the Three Little Pigs packet. I can’t wait to get started.
I recently found fairy dust teaching and I am in love with everything you have to offer! I teach pre-k. Thank you for being so generous with your time and with all the knowledge that you share. I look forward to a long and happy relationship!

Congratulations to you. What an accomplishment!!
You have a wonderful website. Thank you. I teach Early Years and have been following you for a long time…….
I teach my kindergartener and 3rd grader at home. I just started following you. Love your ideas, however, I can’t seem to load the download printable from the site. It says I don’t have permission to access them.
You need to log in to download. Email me and I can help you get settled in!! (I am on the road so it may be a few hours!)
My friend Andrea introduced me to you about two years ago. I’ve used a lot of your ideas in my Dayhome (under 5). I’m currently taking some courses and loving them.
Fairydust is my go to site for inspiration. I love the convenience of joining a professional learning community on line to support my teaching in a Reggio-inspired kindergarten. The on-line workshops are wonderful!
I’ve been reading your blog for several months, maybe a year. I discovered you through Jbrary. I am a youth services librarian and I work with ages 0-18.
I have been teaching kindergarten age and school age children for 8 years officially. I was at one point a stay at home mom who incorporated Reggio, Waldorf and outdoor education philosophies because these three combined make a recipe for a fun learning experience for children and adults involved. By acknowledging that we as adults learn more from the children around us daily allows us to be better educators and staples of the community. These philosophies allow this to happen seamlessly.
Congrats on the five year mark and thank you for providing a fantastic source.
Congratulations! I have been following you since I first started teaching kindergarten, well over two years ago! How time flies! Here is to many more years of inspiration and learning!
