Several teachers in my school have sets of these counting rings. These are Mrs. Winters. I love her wooden cube with the number written on it. The loose leaf rings are large (perhaps 3 inches) with the corresponding number of wooden beads.
What a powerful way to present number quantity. Love it!
Where or how do you make the cubes with a hole?
You can purchase them at a craft store. The cubes are used for beading and can be found in the jewelry making area. Are those rings great?
I love teaching math to my kindergarteners and this will be a wonderful tool to use.
