Great idea! I have some felt pieces gathering dust, now I can have my son make fun play noodles (I just need to grab a bowl and dig out some chopsticks!). It’s an easy project for my son to do, he has Down syndrome. Thanks for sharing!

Cool idea! I’ve seen it done w/ yarn, but I like this better because of the kids’ creating their own unique noodles!
Good for fine motor skills and to take more ownership of the project!

Exactly! And it takes some control to cut felt. There is a real feeling of accomplishment. We will form “Felt Food Workshops” where a team of children cut “food” for housekeeping. The children in housekeeping will deliver food requests like it is a grocery store. So much fun!
